Newark -The Delaware State Police Troop 1 Command Staff will be hosting a public meeting to present their 2018 “Year in Review”.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., at the Siegel JCC, located at 101 Garden of Eden Rd., Wilmington.  The presentation will focus on providing the community with a better understanding of how Troop 1 functions, and the duties and responsibilities of our Troopers.  Other topics covered will include Troop 1’s structure and components; 2018 goal attainment specific to crime and collisions; 2019 goals, as well as statistics concerning various crimes within the Troop area.

The meeting is open to the public and all are not only welcome but encouraged to attend. It is a great opportunity for the community to obtain a better understanding of how the Delaware State Police are working to ensure public safety in the areas where we all live, work, and travel.
