*UPDATE-Second Suspect Identified, Sought* Troopers Investigating Assault – Pike Creek

Wilmington – The Delaware State Police have identified and issued warrants for Russell E. Brittingham, 56 of Chestertown, MD as the second suspect involved in an assault that took place in the parking lot of Goldey Beacom College on Monday, February 11. Brittingham, along with Ralph A. Cruz, also of Chestertown, assaulted the 20 year old male victim after learning that he was involved in an alleged altercation with an acquaintance of theirs. During the assault Brittingham was in possession of a knife.

Warrants are currently on file charging Brittingham with Assault 2nd Degree, Aggravated Menacing, Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony and Conspiracy 2nd Degree.

Cruz has not been located as of yet and still has active warrants for Assault 2nd Degree and Conspiracy 2nd Degree.
