Wilmington – The Delaware State Police are on scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 5:19 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2019 on Philadelphia Pike in the area of Marsh Rd.
Philadelphia Pike northbound is completely closed and traffic southbound is restricted to one lane. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.

The investigation is in the very early stages with further details being released as they become available.
