Wilmington (19804) – The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Wilmington area pharmacy that took place Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:03 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, located at 636 S. Maryland Avenue, Wilmington. A male suspect, with a concealed face, and who had had a knife tucked into his waistband, confronted an employee in the manager’s office and demanded money. The suspect then removed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the business through a rear door. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect was described as a male, 6’00”-6”1”, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a cloth concealing his face.
