Troopers Investigating Robbery- Lewes

Lewes– The Delaware State Police are investigating a report of a robbery that occurred in the Plantations East Development.

The incident occurred on December 25, 2018 at approximately 10:00 p.m. when Troopers were dispatched to the unit block of Cottonwood Lane for a report of a robbery.  Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with a 30-year-old male who advised that while he was sitting on his front porch using his mobile phone, he was approached by two male subjects when a scuffle ensued and his cell phone was taken.

It was also reported that there was a third female suspect who entered the residence and made contact with a 63-year-old female who was inside.  The female suspect was inquiring about an individual and left after the brief conversation.

The suspects were described as the following:

  • White male, 6’01” tall, approximately 210 lbs., with black hair and wearing dark clothing
  • Black light skinned male approximately 6’04” tall, wearing dark clothing
  • White female, blonde hair, 5’05” tall approximately 110 lbs., wearing dark clothing

There were no reports of injuries as a result of this incident.
