Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest – Millsboro

Millsboro- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Seaford man after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs.

The incident occurred late on Friday, August 24, 2018 at approximately 10:18 p.m. when a trooper observed a white Ford Expedition traveling southbound on DuPont Boulevard north of Laurel Road, Millsboro. The driver was observed talking on his cellular phone. The trooper activated his emergency equipment and the driver stopped the vehicle on Houston Avenue east of DuPont Boulevard. Contact was made with the driver, Bryan Emory, 30 of Seaford, and he exhibited signs of driving under the influence. In addition, there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the driver. During the DUI investigation, a vehicle search was conducted where cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located.

Bryan was transported to Troop 4 where a DUI investigation ensued. He was charged with Possession of Cocaine with intent to deliver tier 1, Possession of Marijuana, 3 counts of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving under the Influence of Drugs, Duty to Sign and Carry License, Failure to have Insurance Identification in Possession, and Operating a Motor Vehicle while using a Cell Phone.

Bryan Jarren Lamont Emory was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court #3 and released on $9,325 unsecured bond.
