Bear- The Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the above suspect who is wanted in connection with two attempted burglaries.

The attempted burglary incidents occurred on June 7, 2018 and June 8, 2018 which were reported to have occurred at the Michael Gallagher Jewelers Inc., located at 102 Fox Hunt Drive, Fox Run Shopping Center, Bear. Through investigative measures, the suspect has been identified as 32 year old, Sye C. Newton, of Bear, Delaware.  Newton is currently wanted for two counts of Attempted Burglary 3^rd degree, two counts of Conspiracy and three counts of Criminal Mischief. In addition he also has two current active $5000 cash only New Castle County Superior Court capiases for Violation of Probation.
