Troopers Arrest Two Juveniles for Burglary-Magnolia

Magnolia– Delaware State Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a burglary that occurred on Monday morning.

On Monday, June 25, 2018, at approximately 10:37 a.m., Troopers were dispatched to the 300 block of Anderson Road for a burglary report.  Upon arrival, contact was made with the homeowner who advised that sometime in the past 24 hours, her two bicycles were removed from her garage.

On this same date, at approximately 1:58 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to the Magnolia Furniture Store, located at 40 S. Main Street, Magnolia, in reference to the victim locating one of her stolen bicycles.  Subsequently, the two suspects identified as 17-year-old Ross C. Madden of Smyrna, and 16-year-old William Figgatt Jr. of Magnolia were taken into custody without incident.

Madden and Figgatt were transported back to Troop 3 where they were charged with Burglary 3rd (Felony), Conspiracy 2nd (Felony), and Theft.  Both were arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released to the custody of their parents.
