Magnolia/Dover-Delaware State Police have arrested a Felton man in connection with two burglaries and other related offenses.

The first incident occurred sometime between June 10, 2018 and June 14, 2018, when a suspect broke into the London Village Baptist Chapel, located at 568 Millchop Lane, Magnolia, through a rear window.  Once inside, the suspect forced entry into a locked office. Prior to leaving the building the suspect removed a jar of coins and fled the building with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Through investigative measures, the suspect was identified as 19-year-old, Adam Brown.

The second incident occurred on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at approximately 8:00 a.m. when Troopers responded to a residence on the 600 block of  Walnut Shade Road, Dover,  for a report of a burglary.  Upon arrival, contact was made with the homeowner who advised that someone had broken into her house through a window.  Once inside, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash prior to fleeing.  Through investigative measures, Adam Brown was identified as the suspect.

On Thursday, June 14, 2018 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Troopers observed Brown on Millchop Lane at Lambert Drive.  Brown was taken into custody without incident.  He was transported back to Troop 3 where he was charged with Burglary 2nd (Felony), Burglary 3rd (Felony), Theft (Felony), Theft Under $1,500.00, and 2 counts of Criminal Mischief.  Brown was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $16, 200.00 unsecured bond.
