Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Complaint- Seaford

Seaford- The Delaware State Police are investigating an incident in which a single bullet was discovered to have been shot at a residence.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at approximately 11:35 p.m. when Troopers responded to a residence in the 24000 block of Clench Jean Lane for a report of shots fired.  Upon arrival, contact was made with a 67-year-old female resident who advised that while she was in her living room she heard a loud noise.  It was then discovered that a single bullet had entered the residence through the siding and into the living room where it struck a wooden table.  Also present in the residence at the time was a 20-year-old female who was in the bathroom.  Both residents were not injured as a result of this incident.

This case remains under investigation and the Delaware State Police is requesting anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Troop 5, Trooper Mongiello at 302-337-1090.
