Claymont – Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a tour bus fire that has all lanes of I-495 northbound closed at the merge with I-95 northbound. All traffic is being forced to exit onto Philadelphia Pike.

No other vehicles were involved and the thirty-five passengers on board were able to off-load without incident, with no injuries occurring.

The roadway is expected to be closed for an extended amount of time as the vehicle is removed. Motorists can expect delays in the area and should seek alternate routes of travel.
