Wilmington (19810) – Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a North Wilmington convenience store that took place overnight.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:54 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2018, at the 7-11 convenience store, located at 2100 Foulk Road, Wilmington.
A black male suspect entered the business and confronted an employee at the sales counter while displaying a handgun. The employee then complied with the suspects demand for money. Once obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash from the employee, the suspect fled on foot, northbound on Foulk Road. The 24 year old male employee was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7”-5’8”, average build, wearing all dark clothing, a cloth covering his face and in possession of a black unknown make and model handgun.
