Dover (19904)- Members of the Kent County Drug Unit (KDU), assisted by The U.S. Marshalls Task Force executed a search warrant with the arrest of two suspects.

On Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 at approximately 3:30 a.m. members of the KDU assisted by The U.S. Marshalls Task Force executed a search warrant in the 2200 building of South Street, in the matter of 30-year-old Sylvester Gould Jr. of Newark and 29-year-old Kimberly Martin of Dover.  Upon arrival at the residences, Martin was located and taken into custody without incident.  Gould Jr. was taken into custody at the Royal Farms located at 6 West Lebanon Road, by The U.S Marshalls Task Force just prior to the execution of the search warrant at the residence.

The search of the residence revealed a loaded .40 Caliber Hi-Point Handgun, a hooded mask, and a pair of gloves in a bag together. Several rounds of loose 9mm ammunition were also recovered.

Sylvester Gould Jr. is a person prohibited from possessing a firearm and was subsequently charged for Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited, and Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited. Gould Jr. was also wanted out of the Middletown Police Department for another incident involving a firearm. He was arraigned out of Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $32,000.00 cash bond.

Kimberly Martin was charged with Conspiracy 2^nd for aiding Gould Jr. in Storing and Possessing the discovered firearm.  She was arraigned out of Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on $1000.00 unsecured bond.
