State Police Investigate Armed Robbery-Bridgeville

Bridgeville– The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the Walkers Mill Mobile Home Park last evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:44 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018, at a residence located in the 11,000 block of 3rd Street, Walkers Mill Mobile Home Park.  The victim, 30-year-old female of Bridgeville and her three juvenile children had just pulled into their driveway when a vehicle pulled in behind them.  The suspects’ vehicle had blocked the victim’s vehicle in the driveway.  Before the victims were able to exit the vehicle, two suspects armed with handguns approached each side of the vehicle at the front doors.  The suspects opened the doors and began demanding money.  The suspect at the driver’s side door then began rifling through the 30-year-old victim’s pockets while holding a handgun to her.  The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash prior to both suspects fleeing the scene in their vehicle.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male, in his upper 20’s, tall with an average build, and darker complexion.  He had curly hair and hair on his chin that was approximately one inch in length. He was wearing mechanic style coveralls and a jacket with a hood that was pulled up over his head.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male, in his mid 20’s, tall with a slightly heavy build.  He was also wearing a jacket with the hood pulled up over his head.

The suspect vehicle was described as a four door, dark in color passenger vehicle.  No further information could be provided on the vehicle or the suspects at this time. The victim and her three children were not harmed as a result of this incident.
