Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspect-Dover

Dover – The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify a burglary suspect.

The male depicted in the photograph is a suspect in a burglary that occurred on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at approximately 1:48 a.m. at Melvin’s Service Center located at 1020 South State Street.  The suspect gained entry to the business by smashing a window.  Once the suspect entered the business, an alarm was activated and the suspect immediately fled without obtaining any property.

The suspect is described as a black male with a beard wearing a dark colored coat, light colored pants, light colored sneakers, and gloves.
