Troopers Conducting Death Investigation-North Wilmington

Day One Motel

Wilmington (19809) – Delaware State Police are currently conducting a death investigation in which two subjects were found deceased in a North Wilmington motel room.

The investigation began at approximately 2:28 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2017, when Troopers were dispatched to the Day One Motel (formerly the Printz Motel), located at 5029 Governor Printz Boulevard, Wilmington, in reference to two male subjects who appeared to be deceased, inside one of the rooms. New Castle County Paramedics responded as well, and pronounced both subjects dead at the scene.

The bodies were removed from the scene by the Division of Forensic Science for the purpose of an autopsy, in order determine the manner and cause of death.

The investigation is still in the early stages, and homicide detectives are continuing to conduct interviews, and collect evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident. Additional information and investigative details will be disseminated as the investigation progresses.
