Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Complaint in Slaughter Beach

Slaughter Beach – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a residence last evening on Bay Avenue.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017, at a residence in the 400 block of Bay Avenue.  The homeowner contacted 9-1-1 after he heard gunshots outside and when he went to investigate, he noticed a bullet hole in the front door of his residence.  The homeowner was not injured as a result of this incident.

At this time there are no suspects.

This case remains under investigation and the Delaware State Police is requesting anyone with any information regarding this incident to contact Troop 4, Major Crimes Unit at 302-856-5850.
