Wilmington (19808) – Delaware State Police detectives have arrested an Oxford, Pennsylvania man in connection with a Wilmington area bank robbery.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:57 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Bank of America, located at 2074 Limestone Road, Wilmington, when a subject, later identified as Donald L. Robb, 40, of Oxford Pennsylvania, entered the bank and provided a demand note to a 25 year old, female, teller.

The demand note stated that he was armed with an explosive device, and also instructed the teller to place money into a bag. The teller complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to Robb, who then exited the bank.

There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

Through a variety of investigative measures, detectives were able to obtain a detailed description of Robb. They were also able to identify a dark colored Mitsubishi Eclipse with distinctive identifiers, as a possible suspect vehicle.

While canvassing the area, detectives located a Mitsubishi Eclipse, matching the description of the suspect vehicle in the parking lot of the Delaware Park Casino. Detectives also observed a subject inside the casino who matched the description of Robb. As Robb exited the casino and returned to the Mitsubishi he was taken into custody without incident. A subsequent search of Robb produced evidence further linking him to the robbery.

Robb was transported to Delaware State Police Troop 2 where he was arrested and formally charged with one count of Robbery 1st Degree. Robb was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #11 and released on $500.00 unsecured bond.
