Georgetown- Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash on US 9, County Seat Highway at Warrington Road.  US 9 in the area of the crash is completely shut down.

The initial investigation has determined that the crash occurred at approximately 6:14 p.m. this evening, Friday, November 03, 2017 on US 9 County Seat Highway approximately one mile west of Georgetown and involves three vehicles. As a result of the crash one person has been declared dead at the scene.

The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the crash.  Expect delays in the area and seek alternate routes of travel. Further details will be released as they become available.
