Troopers Investigating Armed Robbery Of North Wilmington BP Gas Station

Wilmington (19802) – Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery which took place at the BP gas station located at 3507 Miller Rd., Wilmington.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:06 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 when a black female entered the BP gas station and confronted a 41 year old male employee behind the sales counter. The female displayed a black unknown make and model handgun and ordered the employee to place all the money from the register into a plastic bag. The employee complied with the demand, turning over an undisclosed amount of money. The employee was then ordered to place an unknown quantity of lottery tickets and cigarettes into the bag as well. After obtaining the money and merchandise, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. The employee was uninjured as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a black female with a dark complexion, 20-25 years of age, 6’00”, 160 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
