Kenton – The Delaware State Police are currently conducting a death investigation after two people were found deceased at their home in the town of Kenton.

Around 11:00 a.m. this morning, Thursday October 19, 2017, a relative responded to a residence located in the unit block of Cooper Street to check on his elderly in-laws and bring them breakfast.  Upon entering the locked house with a key, the relative discovered the husband and wife in the bedroom with apparent gunshot wounds.  The relative then called 9-1-1 with his findings.  Both the male and female were pronounced dead at scene.

The investigation is currently in its early stages and more information will be released when it is received.

This is an isolated incident and there are no concerns for the community.
