Troopers Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspect

Wilmington (19803) – Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify the subject in these surveillance photographs who was involved in the burglary of a North Wilmington grocery store.

The incident occurred at the Shop Rite located at 1300 Rocky Run Parkway, Wilmington, on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. The initial investigation indicated that the suspect entered the business and removed merchandise from various locations throughout the store before fleeing the property in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as a black male, 30-40 years of age, 6’00” tall with a thin build. The suspect was also described as having a “salt & pepper” colored goatee.
