Troopers Investigate Robbery of North Wilmington Country Farms Store

Wilmington (19802) – Delaware State Police are currently investigating the armed robbery of a North Wilmington convenience store.

The initial investigation has determined that the incident occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday September 26, 2017, at the Country Farms located at 3505 Miller Rd. A male suspect entered the business and confronted a male clerk who was standing behind the sales counter. The suspect then displayed an unknown make and model handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The male clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. Once obtaining the money the suspect fled the business in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as black male 25-27 years of age, approximately 5’11” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray colored hooded sweatshirt, light-colored blue jeans and black shoes. He also had a mask covering a portion of his face.
