Magnolia – The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery of an area liquor store.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m., Wednesday September 27, 2017, as a male subject entered the Woodside Liquors, located at 1307 Peachtree Run, armed with a handgun.  The suspect pointed the gun at an adult male customer that was leaving the store and told him to leave.  The suspect then confronted the female employee at the counter and demanded cash.  The clerk complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspect exited the store and ran in a northerly direction.  The customer and employee were not injured.

The suspect was described as black male, 5’10”-6’00” tall, 180-200lbs.  He was last seen wearing jeans, black shoes, a black jacket, gloves and a hat. (No further physical or clothing description).  Armed with an unknown type handgun.
