Harrington – The Harrington Police Department with the assistance of the Delaware State Police are currently operating in the unit block of Dickerson Street for a report of a possible suicidal subject located in a residence.

The incident began at approximately 12:09 p.m. when the Harrington Police Department received a call for a possible suicidal male located inside a residence in the unit block of Dickerson Street.

Officers and troopers continue to assess the situation with no further details available at this time.

Several residences in the area of the incident have been evacuated as a precaution. Several roads in the area have been closed and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
