Troopers Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Attempted Burglary Suspect

Greenwood- Delaware State Police Troop 4 Property Crimes Unit detectives are currently investigating the attempted burglary of a Greenwood area store and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

The investigation began on April 3, 2017, after troopers were called to respond to Al’s Country Store, located at 4937 Hickman Road, for the report of an attempted burglary. Upon their arrival, it was learned that an unknown suspect had damaged a door to the business in an attempt to gain entry inside. The suspect (pictured) was unsuccessful, however, and fled the area without gaining entry.

The suspect is described as a white male 20-30 years of age. He was 5’08”-5’10” tall and weighs 180-200 lbs.
