Troopers Investigate Dunkin Donuts Robbery

 New Castle (19720) The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the armed robbery of a New Castle area Dunkin Donuts which occurred Wednesday evening.

The initial investigation has determined that the incident occurred at approximately 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday August 23, 2017, as a male suspect entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 1001 North DuPont Highway. The suspect approached the sales counter and implied that he was armed with a weapon. He then demanded money from the store’s cash registers. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him. The suspect then exited the business and fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male. He is approximately  20 years of age,  5’10”- 5-11” tall, weighs 160-170 pounds, and was last seen wearing gray pants, white sneakers and no shirt.
