State Police Investigating Shots Fired Complaint – Lincoln

Hidden Branch Lane Gunshots

Lincoln – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a residence on Hidden Branch Lane.

The incident occurred around 3:50 a.m. Friday August 4, 2017 as troopers responded to the 9000 block of Hidden Branch Lane for a report of shots fired in the area.  When troopers arrived, they were contacted by the homeowner who advised there were multiple gunshots fired at their house.  Shell casings were located on the roadway and the victim’s vehicle also sustained damage from the bullets.

At this time there are no suspects.

This case remains under investigation and the Delaware State Police is requesting any information regarding this incident to contact Detective M. Doughty at 302-752-3794.
