Troopers Investigate Robbery of North Wilmington Starbucks

Wilmington (19810) – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the armed robbery of a North Wilmington area Starbucks which occurred yesterday evening.

The initial investigation has determined that the incident happened at approximately 8:28 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, as two male suspects entered the Starbucks, located at 1737 Marsh Road. The suspects approached the sales counter where they both  brandished an unknown make and model handgun and confronted two female employees. They then demanded and received and undisclosed amount of money from the cash registers before exiting the business and fleeing in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.

The suspects were both described as black males. One was last seen wearing black pants, a red hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers, and had a black mask covering his face. The second was last seen wearing black jeans and had a black mask covering his face. There is no further physical or clothing description available for either suspect.
