Investigation Underway into Little Heaven Shore Stop Robbery

Little Heaven– The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a gas station that occurred yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m., Friday July 28, 2017, as a male subject entered the Shore Stop, located at 7865 Bay Road.  The suspect approached a store employee at the counter and asked to purchase some cigarettes.  The suspect then provided the clerk with money for the cigarettes, but once the employee opened the register he implied he had a weapon and demanded all the money from the till.  The attendant complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect then exited the store and fled in a southerly direction.  The clerk was not injured.

The suspect was described as black male, 5’09”-5’10” tall, with a beard, wearing a black sweatshirt (No further physical or clothing description).  Unknown if he was armed with any weapon.
