Newark – State Police are requesting assistance in locating Christopher J. Caccavone, 26 of Newark, who is wanted for Reckless Endanger 1st Degree. He may be in the Newark or Hockessin area.

Caccavone is wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Monday, June 19, 2017, after a 33 year old Newark man had a verbal argument with another patron at the Rackers Bar & Billiards located at 1232 Capitol Trail, Newark. The incident turned physical after the suspect displayed an unknown make and model handgun. The victim struck the suspect which knocked him to the ground. It was at this time another patron grabbed the victim and forced him out the door of the bar. The suspect then fired multiple shots as he fled the area. The male victim was not injured and could not provide any further information. No other injuries were reported.

Christopher J. Caccavone is a white male with a thin build, approximately 5’08” tall and may have a short haircut. He possibly fled in a silver Honda Civic. There is no surveillance video available at this time.
