Bear – The Delaware State Police are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on  SR 40 eastbound at Walther Road.

The incident occurred around 2:35 p.m. today, June 18, 2017 and involves two vehicles.  The extent of any injuries are unknown at this time.

SR 40 Pulaski Highway at Walther Road is currently closed and commuters are encouraged to use caution and seek alternate routes of travel.

Further details will be released upon the conclusion of the investigation.
