Troopers Investigating Robbery of Long Neck Area Walgreens

Long Neck – The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery of a Long Neck area store that occurred last evening.

The preliminary investigation has determined the incident occurred at approximately 9:01 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017, as a male suspect armed with an unknown type handgun entered the Walgreens, located at 26191 John J. Williams Highway. The suspect approached the store employee and demanded cash. The employee complied with the demanded and turned over an undisclosed amount of money before exiting the store and fleeing in an unknown direction.  The clerk was not injured.

The suspect was described as white male approximately 5’06” to 5’10” tall, wearing dark colored clothing with his face covered, armed with an unknown type handgun.
