Georgetown, De.- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a crash involving a motorcycle.

The initial investigation has determined the crash occurred at approximately 11:07 a.m. today, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the intersection of West Piney Grove Road and East Trap Pond Road west of Georgetown.

The intersection is currently closed at this time. Motorists should use caution in the area as there will be traffic delays. Travelers are asked to safely find alternate routes of travel.

More details will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
