Troopers Investigate 7-11 Robbery

Wilmington (19809)- Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Wilmington area 7-11 store that occurred yesterday morning.

The initial investigation has determined that the incident happened at approximately 6:20 a.m. yesterday, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, as a male suspect entered the 7-11 store located at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard, Wilmington. He then approached the sales counter and presented the female clerk with a demand note for cash. The suspect also implied that he was armed, however, he did not display a weapon. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him. The suspect then demanded cigarettes as well, and after receiving them, he exited the store and fled in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect was described as a black male 25-35 years of age. He was 5’06”-5’10” tall, weighed 190-220 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jeans, a black jacket, and a red hooded sweatshirt. There is no further physical or clothing description available.
