Troopers Arrest Juvenile for Burglary with Shots Fired

Selbyville, De. – The Delaware State Police have arrested a juvenile and charged him in connection with a residential burglary in which shots were fired at the homeowner. Through investigative measures, evidence and numerous interviews, Dylan Gordan was identified as the suspect.

On Thursday, February 9, 2017, Delaware State Police Burglary Unit Detectives arrested Dylon Gordan at Troop 4, Georgetown after detectives developed him as a suspect in the November 27th, 2016 residential burglary incident. During the burglary of the residence, in the 32,000 block of Sanbru Lane, Selbyville, Gordan removed several guns and subsequently fired two shots from one of the guns which caused the victim to retreat back into the house. During this incident Dylan Gordan fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.

Dylan Gordan was arraigned before the Sussex County Family Court and formally charged with Burglary 1st degree, Reckless endangering 1st degree, four counts of theft of a firearm, four counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony, Felony Theft, and Criminal Mischief. He was subsequently committed to the Stevenson House Detention Center in default of $12,500.00 secured bond. More charges are expected.
