Industrial Accident Being Investigated at Indian River Power Plant

Dagsboro – The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit is currently investigating an industrial accident at the NRG Energy power plant located at 29416 Power Plant Road.

Preliminary investigation reveals the incident occurred around 8:11 a.m. this morning, Tuesday January 31, 2017, when a male subject fell from a roof of the power plant and has died as a result of the fall.

The investigation is in the very early stages.  Further details will be released upon the conclusion of the investigation.
