Laurel – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a serious crash on Gordy Road near Wootten Road involving two vehicles that occurred around 7:50 a.m. this morning.  An unconfirmed number of occupants of the vehicles were transported to area hospitals with undetermined injuries.

Gordy Road between Old Stage Road and Wootten Road is currently closed.  Commuters are advised to seek alternate routes.
