Troopers Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspect

Newark, De- The Delaware State Police Property Unit Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who burglarized a local business last month.

The preliminary investigation revealed the incident occurred on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m., as troopers were dispatched to a burglar alarm at the Links Marine located at 4 Albe Drive, Newark. The investigation revealed a male suspect (pictures attached) shattered the front glass door of the business. The suspect attempted to remove a motor from a boat subsequently causing damage to the boat. The suspect fled the business in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as a white male with a beard wearing shorts, t-shirt and a baseball cap. The suspect’s left arm appeared to be disabled and was thinner than his right arm. There is no further physical or clothing description available.
