Troopers Seek Public’s Help in Locating a Wanted Subject

Seaford, DE- The Delaware State Police are asking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate a male subject wanted in connection with a domestic assault.

The incident took place on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at around 11:32 p.m. as troopers were dispatched to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford for a domestic assault. Troopers contacted the male victim in the emergency room who suffered an injury in the form of a laceration to his upper torso. The investigation revealed a physical altercation occurred in the 24,000 block of King Road, Seaford as the suspect, Leslie Williams, 51 of Seaford, confronted the victim over him contacting his girlfriend. During the altercation the suspect assaulted the victim and then fled the residence. The victim was able to respond to a relative’s residence who drove him to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

Leslie Williams fled the area and warrants have been obtained for Assault 1st degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During Commission of a Felony, and Breech of Release. The suspect also has an active no contact order with his girlfriend prohibiting him from having contact with her or being at her residence.
