Troopers Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Shoplifting Suspect

Newark, DE- Delaware State Police are currently investigating a pair of shoplifting incidents and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect.

Troopers are attempting to identify the pictured male suspect who entered the Walgreens, located at 15 University Plaza, Newark, on Friday, July 15, 2016. The suspect proceeded to gather several personal care products which were on display for sale before exiting the store without paying for the products. He was last seen fleeing the parking lot in an unknown make and model vehicle. There were no injuries.

The same suspect entered the CVS located at 402 N. Maryland Avenue, Wilmington, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, and again removed numerous personal care items from display. He then placed the items in a basket before fleeing the store without paying. Again there were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 years of age. He was 6’00”, weighs approximately 190 lbs., and has a bald head and multiple tattoos on his arms.
