Troopers Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Burglary Suspect

Newark, DE- The Delaware State Police are asking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify a male subject that broke into the Valero Gas Station, south of Newark.

The preliminary investigation revealed the incident took place on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m. when an alarm was received from the Valero Gas Station located at 2565 Pulaski Highway, Newark.  Upon arrival of responding troopers determined that the establishment had been burglarized.  The investigation revealed a male subject had broken into the store and removed an ATM machine before fleeing in an unknown direction in a 2015-2016 Chevrolet Econoline full size van. The suspect depicted in the surveillance images is described as a male standing approximately 5’10” – 6’00” tall, wearing a long sleeve shirt and dark pants. (picture attached)
