Troopers Arrest Magnolia Woman for Felony DUI

Delaware State Police arrested 52-year-old, Kristine Moskal, of Magnolia, Delaware, for 6th offense DUI following a traffic stop on Thursday afternoon.

On October 12, 2023, at approximately 4:18 p.m., troopers were called for a reported DUI in the area of Cinnamon Way, The Reserve of Chestnut Ridge, Magnolia, Delaware. Troopers located the reported vehicle, a gold Chrysler Pacifica with a wheelchair lift on the back, traveling northbound on Almonds Way approaching Windrow Way. With the emergency lights activated while behind the vehicle, the trooper observed the operator drive into the grass, failed to stop at a stop sign, failed to signal before making turns, and fluctuated in traveling speeds. The trooper contacted the operator after vehicle stopped in a private driveway and observed signs of impairment. The operator, identified as Kristine Moskal, was taken into custody after partially completing the standardized field sobriety tests. Computer check showed Moskal had five prior DUI-related convictions.

Moskal was transported to Troop 3 where she was charged with the following crimes:

  • 6th Offense DUI (Felony)
  • Traffic Offenses

Moskal was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5005.00 cash bond.
