The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate the homicide of 63-year-old Mark Garrett of Dover, Delaware, who was found dead on a bike trail in Dover, last month.
On August 30, 2023, at approximately 6:28 a.m., troopers responded to the Isaac Branch Greenway trail in the area of South Bay Road and President Drive, Dover, for a report of a man lying on the ground near the wood line. When troopers arrived, they discovered a man, later identified as Garrett, dead with severe injuries.
This case remains an active investigation, and Delaware Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest. You can also provide information by calling Detective D.
