Delaware State Police Arrest Suspect for Bank Robbery

Delaware State Police have arrested Brandon Mosley, 23 of Wilmington, Delaware following a robbery investigation that began late Wednesday morning.

On June 14, 2023, at approximately 11:37 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the Citizens Bank located at 4435 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington regarding a robbery. The ensuing investigation revealed that a male suspect had entered the business and presented a demand note to the bank teller. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

During the investigation, troopers obtained information that the suspect fled to a nearby Kohl’s department store. Troopers responded to Kohls and located the suspect identified as Brandon Mosley. Mosley was taken into custody without incident and troopers recovered all of the stolen cash in his possession. A computer inquiry also revealed Mosley was wanted for Robbery 1st Degree by the New Castle City Police Department.

Mosley was transported back to Troop 2 where he was charged with Robbery First Degree (Felony). Mosley was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $75,000 cash bond.
