Wilmington- Delaware State Police arrested a 14 year-old juvenile of Wilmington, two 15 year-old juveniles of Wilmington, and a 17 year-old of Wilmington, following a motor vehicle theft, robbery and pursuit.
The incidents began on October 22, 2020, at approximately 8:53 a.m., when the Delaware State Police responded to the Wawa located at 4000 DuPont Parkway, New Castle in reference to a theft of motor vehicle. The 24 year-old male victim parked his silver Honda Accord at the gas pump and went inside of the business with the vehicle doors unlocked, keys in the ignition, and engine running. Upon returning to his car, it was missing.
The suspects then drove the stolen vehicle to a second Wawa located at 117 S. DuPont Parkway, New Castle. At approximately 9:03 a.m., they attempted to steal a second vehicle, but were unsuccessful. The suspects fled in the stolen Honda Accord and drove to a third Wawa located at 4555 New Linden Hill, Wilmington. At approximately 9:36 am, the suspects approached a 60 year-old female victim who was returning to her vehicle, displayed a handgun, and demanded her car keys. A struggle ensued and the suspects were unsuccessful at obtaining the victim’s keys; however, they did pull her purse away from her and fled.
A short time later, Wilmington PD was dispatched to a robbery involving suspects in the same stolen vehicle. Wilmington PD had a short pursuit with the suspects, until they crashed and were taken into custody.
All suspects were transported back to Wilmington PD where they were charged with the following:
14 year-old juvenile
The 14 year-old juvenile was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $138,500 cash bond.
15 year-old juvenile
The 15 year-old juvenile was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $138,500 cash bond.

The 15 year-old juvenile was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $138,500 cash bond.
17 year-old juvenile
The 17 year-old juvenile was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $138,500 cash bond.
The juveniles were also charged by Wilmington PD on related charges.
