Ocean View– The Delaware State Police have charged 30-year-old Bryan Denegal of Dover, DE with additional thefts stemming from the incident on February 3, 2020 in which he led police in pursuit.

Through further investigations, Denegal was linked several more thefts from motor vehicles in the Ocean View area.

On February 6, 2020 Denegal was arraigned on his original charges including:

• Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
• Reckless Endanger First Degree
• Reckless Endangering Second Degree
• Disregarding a Police Officer Signal
• Theft (4 counts)
• Leaving the Scene of Property Collision Accident (4 counts)
• Criminal Mischief
• Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence
• Multiple traffic related offenses

Denegal’s additional charges included the following:

• Theft (Felony) (5 counts)
• Theft (5 counts)
• Criminal Trespass (10 counts)

Denegal was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court on all charges and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $38,732.oo secured bond.
