Dover- The Delaware State Police have arrested 24-year-old Dahppy M. Brewah on multiple drug and weapon chargers related to gang participation.
On January 29, 2020 at approximately 2:45 p.m., members of the Dover Probation and Parole, Dover Police Department Street Crimes and Drug Unit in conjunction with the Delaware State Police concluded an investigation into the matter of Dahppy Brewah in connection with gang related activity. Brewah was observed operating a black Ford Fusion on westbound S. Little Creek Road, while utilizing his cellular phone. A traffic stop was conducted and Brewah was taken into custody without incident. During this investigation Probation and Parole Officers from the Dover Street Crimes Unit obtained an administrative warrant to search Brewah’s residence located in the 200 block of President Drive, Capital Park, Dover.
Upon execution of the search warrant, the following items were located:
Brewah was transported back to Troop 3 where he was charged with the following:
Brewah was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $84,501.00 cash only bond.
