Harbeson- The Delaware State Police have arrested two suspects after a search warrant led to the discovery of drugs.
On January 9, 2020 members of the Sussex Drug Unit (SDU) and the Governor’s Task Force (GTF) concluded a six month drug investigation involving the distribution of illegal drugs occurring at a residence in the 28000 block of Woodcrest Drive, Harbeson, DE. With the assistance of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT), members of SDU and GTF executed a search and seizure warrant at the residence. Upon execution of the search warrant contact was made with 40-year-old Tomaris White of Georgetown and the primary occupant of the residence, 67-year-old Gladys Sampson of Harbeson. White was observed running toward the bathroom attempting to dispose of crack cocaine. White and Sampson were subsequently taken into custody without incident.
During the search of the residence, the following was located:
Gladys Sampson is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing ammunition. White and Sampson were transported back to Troop 4 where they were charged with the following:
Tomaris White:
White was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $17250.00 secured bond.
Gladys Sampson:
Sampson was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on $19850.00 unsecured bond.
