Georgetown, Delaware – The Delaware State Police are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 8:11 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2019, on Zoar Road east of Lawson Road in the area of Fieldwood Farms, Georgetown. 

As a result of the crash, lanes are closed. Motorists will experience delays in the area and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.

The investigation is in the early stages with further details being released as they become available.
